How Much Does Medi-Share Cost?

Christian Care Ministry created Medi-Share, which is a health care sharing ministry where members share each other’s medical bills and pray for each other’s medical challenges.

Medi-Share members are committed to living a healthy lifestyle, following Christian values, and sharing eligible medical bills with other Medi-Share members (and receive help from other members when they have eligible medical bills).

How Much Does Medi-Share Cost?

There are a few factors to consider when looking at the price. In addition to the monthly costs, you need to look at other fees involved with your annual price or costs associated when you have medical bills.

Medi-Share’s Monthly Cost

As a Medi-Share member, you will have a monthly share that you send each month. The monthly payments are based on how many people are on the plan (individual, couple, or family), age, and which Annual Household Portion (AHP) amount was chosen.

At Medi-Share, the monthly share price can cost anywhere between $107 to $1,224.

Additional Costs

In addition to your monthly share amount, be sure to include additional one-time and monthly fees.

$50 – application fee (one-time when you apply).

$120 – new member fee (one-time due with first month’s contribution).

$2 – account set up (one-time).

$2 – administrative fee (monthly).

$1 – additional fee only if you choose statements sent by mail rather than email (monthly).

The Annual Household Portion (AHP)

The annual Household Portion is the amount that a Member Household agrees to pay toward eligible medical bills before any eligible bills may be shared among the members.

The AHP amount resets every 12 months on the Effective Date. 

Christian Care Ministry (Medi-Share) has several Annual Household Portion amounts: $3000, $6000, $9000, and $12000.

The higher the Annual Household Portion (AHP) amount, the lower your monthly share amount will be.

How much does Medi-Share 65+ Cost?

The monthly cost for Medi-Share 65+ is $99 a month for people between 65 – 74 years old.

The monthly cost is $150 a month for people who are 75 years and older.

Additional Costs

$2 – account set up (one-time).

$2 – maintenance fee (monthly).
