Liberty HealthShare is a non profit organization, which is run as a health care sharing ministry. Each Liberty HealthShare member commits to bearing one another’s burdens in prayer, encouragement, and share medical care expenses with one another.

Liberty HealthShare members are a like minded community of health-conscious individuals and families that want to make wise healthcare decisions.

How Much Does Liberty HealthShare Cost?

There are a few factors to consider when looking at the price. In addition to the monthly costs, you need to look at other fees involved with your annual price or costs associated when you have medical bills.

Liberty HealthShare’s Monthly Cost

As a Liberty HealthShare member, you will have a monthly share that you send each month. The monthly payments are based on how many people are on the plan (individual, couple, or family), age, and which Annual Unshared Amount (AUA) amount was chosen.

At Liberty HealthShare, the monthly share price can cost anywhere between $159 to $1,239.

Additional Costs

$125 – Enrollment Fee if you enroll into the Liberty Share plan (one-time)

$135 – Enrollment Fee if you enroll into either the Liberty Plus or Liberty Complete plans (one-time)

$75 – Membership renewal fee (yearly)

$50 – Each family member over 5 people (monthly)

The Annual Unshared Amount (AUA)

The Annual Unshared Amount (AUA) for each program level must be paid before medical costs are eligible for sharing. Your AUA amount is determined by your account type;

Single: $1,000 (Liberty Unite and Liberty Connect) or $4,000 (Liberty Essential Plan)

Couple: $1,750 (Liberty Unite), $2,000 (Liberty Connect) or $8,000 (Liberty Essential Plan)

Family: $2,250 (Liberty Unite), $3,000 (Liberty Connect) or $12,000 (Liberty Essential Plan)

After you fulfill your Annual Unshared Amount (AUA), you may share eligible medical costs.

Where to Learn More About Liberty HealthShare

I wrote an in-depth Liberty HealthShare Review where I go into more detail about what’s included with the different Liberty HealthShare plans.

You can also read reviews from Liberty HealthShare members or write your own review.

Health shares are not insurance and do not offer insurance coverage. Membership in a health share does not guarantee the payment or reimbursement of medical expenses. Each organization operates under its own membership guidelines, which determine what expenses may be eligible for sharing. This publication is for informational purposes only and is not provided by an insurance company. For state-specific notices and full program details, please visit the respective health share’s official website.

Hello! My name is Holly, and I am so happy you have found my website! Before I left the workforce to become a stay-at-home mom, I spent 11 years working for an Investing Education company, later acquired by a large brokerage firm, where I specialized in Risk Management. With that experience, I have become very thorough with legal documents, which I used to comb through and really deep dive into each Health Share’s website to determine what medical bills are actually shareable with their members. I have created Health Share 101 to provide the information you need to make an educated decision for you and your family.
