You can save hundreds (or more) a month on your healthcare costs – and I will show you how simple and easy it is!
Prescription Discounts
Companies like GoodRx, OptumRx, and The Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Company will provide you with amazing discounts on your prescriptions. While you can find discounts on your prescriptions, you can get generic prescriptions for as low as $5, and certain prescriptions will even allow you to get a 90 day supply. Now you’re saving money and time.
You can also just do a google search for your prescription and “coupon”, such as writing “Metformin coupon”. You will see a lot of options come up to help you save money on your prescriptions.
When you go to the pharmacist, you can also just ask them if there are any discounts that can be applied to your prescriptions. You never know what discounts they might be able to find for you.
Telemedicine
Most studies show that at least 30% of Emergency Department visits are not emergencies. If you know your situation is not life-threatening and you are unsure of what to do, you can speak with a healthcare provider 24/7 through telemedicine services, like Teladoc. From the comfort of your home, you can get the help you need at an affordable price. With a non-urgent situation, you can save a lot of money by using telemedicine rather than going to the emergency room or urgent care!
Free Dental Care
You can access free teeth cleaning and other dental care by going to a Dental school near you. Look for a CODA-accredited dental and dental-related education programs near you. You can call them to see what free services they offer. This saves you money, and helps the school.
Direct Primary Care (DPC)
Members of a Direct Primary Care get to enjoy a better healthcare experience, greater access to their primary care provider, and a simple and affordable membership fee. With a Direct Primary Care model, there is no Health Insurance, service fees, or third-party billing.
Over the last year, I have been connecting with a lot of different DPC Doctors and I can tell you that they are all so passionate about providing amazing healthcare at an incredibly affordable price to their patients. Find a DPC doctor near you!
Right now, we are looking to pair our Health Share plan with a DPC doctor for additional discounts and benefits!
Health Share Plans
A Health Share plan is an affordable and effective alternative to Health Insurance. My family switched from Health Insurance to a Health Share plan this year and we save over a thousand dollars every month! Through our Health Share plan, we have access to prescription discounts, telemedicine, annual wellness visits (with no network restrictions!), and most importantly, peace of mind if we ever have large and unexpected medical bills come our way.
With our Health Share plan, we get to focus on being healthy rather than worrying about sky-high medical bills. If you want to know which Health Share I joined and recommend to my friends and family, you can read my blog post about it here: Health Share Plan for Individuals and Families.
There are a lot of Health Share plans to choose from, which is great, but it can also get overwhelming! After much research on all of the Health Shares, I ended up writing an article on the Best Health Share Plans. In this post, I narrow it all down and let you know which health share plans I recommend.
