You Can Still Enjoy Affordable Healthcare
Whether you are in one of the occupations listed above or not, Health Insurance or nothing at all are not your only two options. You can still enjoy affordable healthcare by joining a HealthShare. In fact, most people that join a HealthShare save anywhere from 30-60% when compared to traditional Health Insurance.
Health Sharing: What It Is And How It Works
A Health Share is a non-profit organization where health care costs are shared among members who have common beliefs.
As a member of a Health Share, you would pay, or contribute, a set amount of money each month to your Health Share community.
When an eligible medical need arises, the member would submit a “Need” to the Health Share. Before the Health Share would pay or “share” in any medical bills, the member would first pay their member responsibility amount (it’s called different things at different HealthShares, but it is very similar to a deductible).
Once the member has paid their responsibility, the Health Share would “share” in all eligible medical expenses.
Is a Health Share Right For Me?
Generally speaking, HealthShare plans are designed to help you with larger unexpected medical expenses. That means that smaller medical bills that are less than your set member responsibility amount, would be paid by you.
For most people, a HealthShare is still a great alternative to Health Insurance. In the long run, you save money each month and still have that security knowing that larger eligible medical bills will be “shared” once you’ve paid your member responsibility.
