One of the many benefits of joining a Health Share is that they are month-to-month and you can cancel it at anytime.
Before you Cancel your Membership
Make sure that you already have a replacement in place before you cancel your Health Share membership. Whether it’s another Health Share or Health Insurance, double check your start dates before you cancel anything!
How to Cancel your Sedera Membership
To cancel your membership, you need to notify Sedera in writing of your desire to cancel your membership. You can either email them or write them a physical letter of intent to cancel.
The cancellation will generally become effective at midnight on the last day of the billing cycle in which the cancellation occurs.
If you have Sedera through your employer, please note that if your employer provides list billing as a convenience for you, the actual effective date of any cancellation may be affected by the terms of the list-bill agreement. Please contact your list-bill provider and a Sedera Member Advisor for more detail about cancelling your membership.

I Jeff W Aul am cancelling out due to the increase to $581.82 increase. from $411.82. Was told by Amy cheers and Amy Nielsen there wasnt a increase from $396.53 after the $411.82 increase when i started.. The increase is more than I want. there for I am seeing Amy Nielson today to get some other plan. I know that as of 6-30-22 my
share plan will end. I informed the bank to end payments and insp to get the mount of july paid returned to my account.. Note I did not use the plan but some shots. Didnt have to go to doctors and or hospitals the whole time i was with you yet the increase, is to much. Please return my month of july of $581.82

We tried clicking on the form to cancel the membership and the link is not found. Then when reading the replies it seems this page isn’t even connected to Sedera. I emailed the member email above to cancel. It would be great if we were given an actual contact number to call.

Thank you for your comment! I am not Sedera, but a lot of the Health Share companies make it a little difficult to find out how to cancel their membership, which is why I created this blog post. I have now updated the information to reflect the new changes on how to cancel. Sedera is no longer using a contact form for cancellations, and members just need to contact them in writing (either via email or physical mail). I hope this helps!
