How to Cancel your Samaritan Ministries Membership

One of the many benefits of joining a HealthShare is that they are month-to-month and you can cancel it at anytime.

Before you Cancel your Membership

Make sure that you already have a replacement in place before you cancel your HealthShare membership. Whether it’s another HealthShare or Health Insurance, double check your start dates before you cancel anything!

How to Cancel your Samaritan Ministries Membership

If you wish to cancel your membership, Samaritan Ministries must have received notice from you no later than the 15th day of the month that you want to be the last month in which you share, so that a member with a need will not be relying on receiving your share. (E.g., if you want your last sharing month to be February, you must notify Samaritan Ministries by February 15.) After the 15th of the month, Samaritan Ministries will be preparing share notifications to send the following month, counting on the share you have pledged to help meet the needs of members of the HealthShare.
