Before you Cancel your Membership
Make sure that you already have a replacement in place before you cancel your Health Share membership. Whether it’s another Health Share or Health Insurance, double check your start dates before you cancel anything!
How to Cancel your Liberty HealthShare Membership
You need to send written notice of your cancellation, including the reason for cancellation, by the 20th day of the month, prior to the month in which your sharing contributions will end.

As a Liberty Healthshare member for 9 years, I wish that I didn’t have to say this, but STAY AWAY FROM LIBERTY HEALTHSHARE.
I never needed to make use of Liberty until last year. My wife needed expensive surgery for tumors and the procedure was approved by Liberty. Now, almost year later, I am still owed $40,000 in reimbursements and all I get from Liberty is “First in, first out”.
I had to beg and borrow money to pay providers and collections people. And my credit it ruined.
I am SO sorry about your experience with Liberty HealthShare. You are unfortunately not the first. I have had many people switch over to other Health Share plans that were a better fit for them.

How are you sorry for this man/customer who has been with you for 9 years that Liberty did not take care of in a timely manner. And this is a Christian association? I ask you then is that what Jesus would do?

Liberty Healthshare has been a nightmare. We ended up making share payments that covered medical costs for others and had none of ours covered. Bill collectors came calling so we just paid out of pocket. Traditional medical insurance would have been significantly cheaper, which is where we are returning.
I’m so sorry you have had a bad experience. Do what’s best for you and your family. You can also check out some other Health Share plans that are known for paying medical bills quickly for their members.
Liberty Health Share is a scam, just like the religion that purports itself as salvation for masses. It’s a get rich scheme that preys/prays on the sick and poor and gives to the corrupt and the rich. Wake up people it’s a pyramid scheme!
